    Well Done Good and Faithful Servant

           “For us, the promoters are sent to other regions not to just do national to national projects but to equip the nationals, to mobilize the national to be involved in the Great Commission.”  Nhamo made this statement in 2010.  Nhamo equipped church leaders so they could teach other church leaders how to share their faith and how to conduct a national to national project.  It created an explosion of national to national projects in Southern Africa that began with two in 2005 and increased to 48 in 2013.

            On Sunday, May 17, 2015, the Lord took Nhamo to his eternal home.  There had to be many who greeted him that came to know the Lord in one of the 264 projects that were conducted under his leadership from 2005 through 2015.  In those projects more than one million men, women and young people indicated that they prayed and asked Jesus to become their Savior and Lord.  Projects were conducted in 15 different countries in southern Africa and several island nations located off the east coast.  Nhamo was passionate about entering countries where IC had never worked.  Nine nations in the southern Africa region were first entered by national to national projects.  Nhamo made the contacts and equipped the leaders...

          No Sonia didn’t catch this fish.  But God used the IC team to fulfill His promise of Mark 1:17, “Come follow me and I will make you fishers of men”. 
 
          After a week of evangelism in Jinja Uganda we are still praising God for the over 10,000 people who indicated that made decisions for Christ.
 
          Although we have returned home, the project is not over.  The 23 Baptist churches in Jinja have a big job to disciple all of these new Christians and they have committed that this will be their focus in the coming months.

     We worked in nine Mission Churches in Jamaica.  The churches were part of a circuit of churches for each pastor, so sometimes the pastor was not present as we worked with members of the mission.  The churches were in rural areas and separated my many miles.  In many cases transportation while at the church was not available.  Some congregations were less than 20 people.  Most visitations were done by walking from the church along neighboring streets. Despite these handicaps, there were 544 who prayed to receive Christ.
